Sign the waiver.
Dress for the weather and bring sun protection.
Dress for messy work with sharp objects. This means boots or closed-toed shoes, long pants, and a long-sleeved layer.
Bring bug spray or treat your clothing to prevent ticks. Learn more
Bring plenty of water.
Arrive on time. If you will be late, please notify Brother Daouda.
Park in the dirt lot near the first entrance. Please don't park in the private driveway near the house.
Check in with a volunteer.
Pay your balance and make sure your waiver is signed.
Note that we cannot do small meat cuts. You can bring your meat to a butcher recommended by Brother Daouda.
An outdoor bathroom will be available on-site.
Do a tick check. It's very important to prevent tick bites or remove them as soon as possible.
